Quinta do Alqueve (Pinhal da Torre)
Ribatejo Red Blend

Ah Portugal, here we go, much better than that last bomb from Oz.
Fresh but deep blackberry and plum undercurrent with higher toned red cherry fruit and violets flowers floating on top.
Ripe and medium bodied with medium+ tannins. Very enjoyable and full of character.

Medium plus ruby. Red plum, wet leaves, cloves, nutmeg, walnut skin, bone marrow, pine needles, black pepper, candied bell pepper, eucalyptus. Medium acidity, medium sugar, medium plus alcohol. Guessed it to be an Australian Bordeaux/Syrah blend.
