Apr 12th, 2018Always like this producer, touriga shows good concentration, touch blocky, but in a nice zone now the 2010. Can see why it grows well in SA. Tough one to ID in a blind tasting!

A top 100 winery in 2015, Quinta Do Vallado is one of the best in the Douro region without the typical High price tag. A dark crimson color, beautiful aromas of wild fruits, a little violet florals and perfect amount of spice. So elegant, fruity and round. A perfect balance with silky tannins, and a nice long finish. Excellent for the holidays.

Серьезный подход: крепко сбито, деликатно, если можно так сказать для такого брутального стиля. Очень хороший объем. Темная вишня, слива и много черного перца.
