Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon

Really opened up after 40. Shows a little more tannin than 6 months ago. Baby fat must be fading finally.

I love everything that @Mike Smith makes and this was no different. Very well priced cab for the quality. Now that you're making 100 pt wines keep it that way my man! Congrats.

Opened up nicely after ~1 hour and drank really nicely. very good dirt+fruit balance that I enjoyed.

There’s a certain amount of finesse in this powerful bottle. Bold upfront dark fruit and an underlying but present tannin structure.

Give a little time to breathe when first opening. Still has aging potential. Still fresh a day after opening.

Great dark red cherry fruit. Excellent mid palate. Excellent mouthfeel and balance.

Muscular black fruit with an amazing mid palate and finish. Wine has many years ahead but why wait.

Really like this winemaker! Great job Mike Smith!
