I rarely drink Lopez reds...this wine is a bit tight & awkward. Obviously still a baby. Very angular. Needs more time or it's not as integrated as the white Lopez I've had.

1 person found it helpfulDec 24th, 2012Last of the '02, but worth the wait. Dry red clay. Dense, sweet raisin; medium tannin, oak, acid - but glutamic vinegar bite (crisp, not sharp). Pairs with charcuterie, grilled anything, fragrant rices, cured meats, and - if lucky - another bottle.
