First white Rioja I've ever had. Over the hill but interesting nonetheless.

Acetaldehyde too strong. Old white wine... Just have a sherry instead.

This is a perfect wine. Dijon mustard. Drinking at the right time.

Birth year wine

Oh boy, toasty, nutty goodness with a faint citrus and shellfish background. Not sure if it's down to bottle variation but this is the best of the three I've had over the last 18 months.

On nose: olive, salty, smoky, essential oils.

Sour fruit, tropical and exotic, mango, sour Meyer lemon, ham, mushroom, barny, some savory broth, acidity reflects sour aromas, Moderate abv only 12%, some old American oak. Tangy Dill!
