This 6 year old Tondonia Blanco bottled in the early 70s is absolutely stunning. Better than any of the vintages I’ve had. I know traditionally some Spanish producers put a lot of effort into their NV blends (think Vega Sicilia for example) but this was still far better than expected. Glad I’ve got 11 bottles left. It’s complex as hell and has serious acidity but it’s the length that really stands out. It. Never. Ends.

Not a huge fan of these wines... Until you pair them with Spanish cheese or a ton of garlic. Then they're great.

Jun 18th, 2018Dessert wine-ish for dinner! Enjoyed the nutty nose followed by medium + acidity on the palate and a candied fruit finish. Tasty compliment to Marisa’s instapot butter chicken masala!

Spectacular. This has it all, amazing purity of fruit, great acidity and amazing intensity. For 36 years old, it's going strong with easily another 20 years no problem.

Golden color. Clear. Vanilla, honey and citrus on the nose. Very tropical. Scented and aromatic. Lemon, grapefruit and nutts on the palate. Creamy and rich. Accented acidity, feels kind of young. Wonderful wine. Plenty room for maturing. Long finish.

Oxidized vanilla, coconut, nutty with some melon and salinity. Layers upon layers of flavors. Long finish. Medium body. Medium plus acidity. Amazing with cheese and charcuterie.
