It’s amazing how diverse and delicious Gruner can be. This is a much bigger richer wine than most of the classic producers I’ve had recently. It starts with an expressive nose of peach and pear then red apple and chamomile. Very full bodied, oily and fat. Flavors of coriander, pear, and almond. Almost like a Belgian white ale. So delicious I’m really taken back. Went and bought another the next day to keep around for a few years.
