Very woody nose, but not overwhelming. Cherry and cinnamon in there too. Tannic sour, right off. Needs to open a little.

Hello alcohol. While I've had the Lodi version of the old vine series, and enjoyed it, this one just was a bit of a disappointment. Drinkable but alcohol huts first in both the nose and the palette - more so than the warm climated Lodi, which is surprising.
