Raventos i Blanc
Reserva Brut Cava Macabeo-Xarel-lo-Parellada
Cava, classic method from Spain, 12%. Excellent color, typical nose with "cotton candy" and bread crust scents. In the mouth quite dry, cannot detect much sugar, with very "creamy" bubbles, very enjoyable. 84/100

Dec 28th, 20122009 Raventos i Blanc L'Hereu. Not a bad cava, but overly priced at 19€. Heavy and oily for a cava, could use quite a bit of more acidity and overall freshness.

Aug 3rd, 2014Cava grapes are macabeu, parellada, and xarel•lo. This one sharp and fizzy on tongue, lots of apple, flavors linger. Dry as it should be. Smells bright, some citrus and bread and yeast, not overly rich. Enjoyable, and suitable for a nice occasion. Good price. ($18?)
