Red Car
Sonoma Coast Rosé of Pinot Noir
Super bright and slightly tart. Strawberry, tangerine, apricot, and some tart berry. Decent acidity. Not as much bright tangerine fruit as last year. Still good.

Aug 25th, 2018That’s just so interesting for a rose it’s definitely past it’s prime and it’s fruit aromas are overwhelmed by the oak, but the oak still adds a lot of depth and texture to it that you don’t have to find in a rose. The craziest part is is that the acidity is still massive. It’s a stellar food wine or quaffer. But I held it way too long

Aug 7th, 2018Found this while digging around. Not my favorite Rosé, but also not bad. Zippy acidity. This one pairs well with a patio and Texas heat.

Aug 29th, 2022Crisp peach and grapefruit. Fresh and bright. Nice acidity. Perfect on patio (our dog Benny is also enjoying the patio weather).

Mar 28th, 2021Tangerine, peach, and watermelon. Nice bright acidity rounding out freshness. Enjoying this on the patio during a rare Texas August cool front.

May 31st, 2020Pure, clear salmon color in the glass. A soft nose of melon, grapefruit, and rose petals. Bright and lively, this is always one of my favorite Rosés every year because it’s just so beautifully crafted. More Provençal than most New World Rosés I’ve tried. Straight Pinot rosés can be a bit iffy at times but this is silky smooth and absolutely mouth watering. Citrus fruits and cherries on the palate. There’s a reason this is near the top of the list for me every year
