It does have the kick of a shiraz, but I believe it should be considered a syrah since it's not from Australia.

The bottles description of "...raspberry jam, leather and peppery flavors finishing with a touch of honey." is pretty accurate. I really like this one! Love the sweetness, which isn't common in a red.
