Reisten, Classic Riesling, Valtická, Pozdní sběr 2022.
A Czech riesling brought back by my wife after her recent business trip in Czechia and Slovakia. The nose is ripe, with orchard fruits (pear, peach and a bit of lemon). There is a zesty, bitter note, too. The palate is a bit disappointing, it's a bit flat. There is pear note all along, some lemon zest touches, a bit of grip in the rear. The finish is short, fresh, showing peary and zesty touches. It.s not bad but it's far from great.
