Just like the bottle says. Great with grilled sausages. Bramble fruits, plum, great mouthfeel.

2011 BBQ Zin

With a nose of cracked pepper, clove, and blackberry, this Zinfandel is a great backyard experience. The entry of the wine shows a rich body with the spices in the nose carrying though into the flavor with hints of smoke. These flavors are further enhanced with elements of raspberry and cherry. All of these characteristics lend themselves nicely to grilled meats and vegetables.

It paired really well with the ribs I made. Nice smokey peppery flavor.

Really paired well with a pepper steak. No after taste and smooth. Fruity and peppery.

Aroma of spice and cinnamon. Then a peppery burst on the tongue that fades slowly and leaves no aftertaste. But wait, after a moment and a breath the peppery taste comes back.
