One of my favorite sauv blancs. There's an earthiness here you normally don't see. Much more French styled than Californian. A sexy, Parisian perfumed wine. White flowers, agave syrup, and ocean mist on the nose. White grapefruit, Meyer lemon peel, kumquat, ginger, and minerals on the palate. Finishes with a touch of grey salt and more ginger. Amazingly unique.

We don't normally drink Sauvignon Blanc because we don't like the acidity, but this one fits the bill for us. Light & crisp and well balanced. The citrus doesn't fill your whole mouth like many Sauvignon Blancs do. This was a great pair with a nicely grilled mahi.

May 10th, 2015Love this wine; unfortunately tonight, this bottle was flawed. Flabby and flat replaced the usually bright, crisp mineral flavors I'm used to. Down the drain it went!
