Much more vibrant than the '94 we drank last week, the dark garnet with a touch of brick '96 Ridge Zinfandel Field Blend 'Lytton Springs' had lovely aromas of toasty, cedary oak and spicy plum and wild berry. The flavors echoed and enhanced the aromatics. Rich and intense with balanced acidity and soft tannins. Excellent with food.
