2010. Had this in a blind tasting, it was surprisingly fruit-forward and approachable.

Wonderfully balanced with an appealing cassis, blackberry, loam, cedarwood character. Very persistent on the palate. Long finish. From magnum. Young approachable now, but would love to revisit in 5 years! 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc; 13% alcohol

Decant for 6 hours. Luscious, fresh and long lived. Next one open in about 6 years.

Built to last, this infant had everything placed correctly; loads of sweet tannins, juicy acidity and fruit for balance. Very clever oak handling let the chalky minerality shine on the lengthy finish. Best from 2020.

Bordeaux in body and style. Meaty but balanced. Smooth tannins are only nod to CA. Lovely.
