Casablanca Valley Pinot Noir

Tasted kinda like a Sonoma Coast Pinot to me. But it's Chilean.

Good acid marred by a sweetness.

Gets a little too funky on the nose for my liking. Sort of murky black fruit notes (or is it red? Hard to say.) behind a ubiquitous oak cover.

The initial aroma is not particularly significant. Traces of soil, earthy, mildly ripe berries sitting on leather. Slightly spicy with blueberries and a gripping tannin that lingers at the back of the pallet. Reasonably priced at $16.99, though I have experienced more tantalizing wines at the same price. I would advise time to sit and mingle with the air. Certainly worth the experience.

Pretty good especially when you're drinking at work.

Really smooth, but slightly peppery. Light to medium bodied. Great for homey Italian meals.

Clean smooth light wine taste

Full body Pinot. Way too strong to my taste.
