Nose has charred cherry, dried blackberry, dehydrated cranberry, old wet leather, dried blueberries, saturated cedar plank and crushed fresh blueberries.
Palate has ripe/dried blueberries, light creamy oak, dark chocolate, dried strawberry, strawberry jam, rioevblackberry, violets and wet garden soil.
Finish is forever, tannins are velvet Elvis! I can't believe I'm commiting this to actual notes, but this might be the best Biale bottle we've ever had, and it's hard to top the equal vintage from the Monte Rosso vineyard. MR is dear to my heart from most producers, but this is epic. At peak enjoyment at only 11yo! Decanted 5H.

Medium dark ruby color. Very nicely structured and balanced. Not an over the top jammy Zin but still very full bodied and berry fruit driven. I wanted that second glass.
