Robert Mondavi Winery
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
1969 vintage is holding up well. Soft mulled wine flavored and very soft mouth feel. Not bad for a 46 year old non reserve Mondavi Cab

Jan 24th, 2015Birth year on my birthday, didn't expect it to be so fresh, lots of fruit, great tannins, 12% alcohol!

Mar 25th, 2014Wow! Fresh, alive, tons of fruit. Perfect bottle. The good ole days of California preserved so well.

Nov 18th, 2018Didn't hold high hopes that this would be as good as it was. Cork soaked to w/in a mm of the top but no seepage. (Thanks to the collector I bought it from who obviously had stored it well all these years.) it was one note front to back w/o any tannins. Prune, raisin, and your grandad's den. I think my first thought was "This is Hugh Hefner in a bottle." Within 15-20 minutes it had turned into a crazy girlfriend and changed her disposition. Still nice but heavy on the "old man" vibe.
Hard to put a number on this one...
Would I shell out the money for another bottle? No. Do I regret the purchase? Not a bit.
