Served as the "house" Cabernet. Very nice surprise! Starts with fruit with a subtly dry finish.

Even though inoffensive sounds like a slam, in this case it isn't intended as such. Good structure but not overly full-bodied; actually mellow for a cab. Pleasant warmth with hints of charred oak and leafy high notes. It was a gift, and appreciated alongside my killer short ribs.
