Great nose and start with tastes of rich fig and dark cherry. A bit of flat bitterness at the end.

This is a Cabernet, merlot and Sangiovese blend. I'll have to say for a bottle under $25 this has great structure and balance.

2011 Vintage - ready for consumption. This wine doesn't do any wood. still it retains a hint of it. I'm a fan of non Oakes wines: such practice reveals more about the terroir. overall the outcome is balanced. It will make an impression of a quality higher than actually could be found in the bottle, but it is what counts.

Very nice wine for the $$$. Perfect blend with a soft finish making it a good diverse wine for any meal.
