Beautiful fruit on the nose and palate - this wine is a great alternative to Sauvignon Blanc - crisp, clean and fresh with lots of minerality. Delicious on its own or with food. This is Maremma vermentino, so richer than Sardinian style - lees stirring and a touch of oak- Think of it as pinot grigio meets gruner veltliner

Hint of soap and lotion on the nose. Flavor is weird. Stems, seeds, and sticks. Very, very unique white.

The nose was so light - even after letting it breathe it was pretty mild. I do get a lot of grapefruit in both the nose and taste. It's a pretty tart wine.
