Just not my cup of tea still. I can appreciate the depth and the power. You can tell it’s a very good wine. It improved and softened with some time but didn’t move the needle. Smoky. Peppery. With a longish finish. I just personally don’t enjoy the underlying grapes.

A sin to drink this now. Ultra modern in style. Pretty sweet initially, then calms and layer after layer of hedonistic fruit and earth.
