Nothing like a solid wine tasting on a Tuesday evening. This is money sauv blanc, especially for $22'ish/bottle. Crisp, floral, but a good amount of kiwi and even pineapple.

Pineapple, almond nose. Lemon zest attack to fatty mid palate and lightly oaked finish.

I know that most of my pictures blow... This one is no exception.
But the wine is excellent. Brisk nose of cut flowers, grapefruit and a hint of butterscotch.
On the palette, the wines slips down. The first thing that taps you on the shoulder is the acid structure. Second thing was some warmth on the mid-palette. I checked the label to find 14.5% alcohol, REALLY!
Nice tropical fruits and nuts bring up the rear. Overall, an excellent example.
Boys, if you want to sneak up on wifey/girlfriend, look no further than Round Pond SB. She'll be putty in your hands in no time - you heard it here first!

Bright tropical summer aromatics: apricot, lemon/lime, peaches and blooming poet's jasmine. . . Such a Rich mouthfeel with matching acidity.
