It was a rare treat to taste each of the Ruggabellus bottlings from 2009-2018 today. It’s been a productive decade for them and there are some stunners in the line up; no more so than the trio of 2016, 2017 & 2018 Syrah from their home property in Flaxmanns Valley. The vitality and purity of these is of the highest order. Fantastic stuff!
