Treinspoor Swartland Tinta Barocca
Seriously cool stuff here. South African old vine tinta barroca! Dense and plummy but with animal bacon fat quality to it. A tad pricy, but worth it just to see what it's all about.

Jul 6th, 2017Deep ruby colour with a pure, blue-fruited, violet perfume intertwined with crushed granite mineral notes and a slight dried-herb inflection. Ample tannin, though very fine. Plenty of the aforementioned fruit on the palate and some lovely, fresh acidity.
