This wine is wild in every sense of the word. The fruit is fierce and up front while also bringing a unique profile that feels foreign and exotic. It’s right up front with a huge swell of red fruit and then finishing with some moderate tannins. Ample acidity and the alcohol is in a great place under 13%

7 years in and singing. Fruity, herbal, starting to show signs of going secondary but has lots of life left.

Much darker than anticipated, but round and racy on the palate. Dark cherry notes, almost weightless, but buzzing with bracing acidity. Pomegranate and tart cherry.. prob never be a favorite grape varietal, but bringing plenty of tasty juicy fun. And a true vinous bargain.

Should have waited. Didn’t. Looking forward to more good decisions to close out 2017.

A revelation in the possibilities of American Carignan. Reductive at first, but the aromatics just jump from the glass once that blows off. Fresh strawberry & plum notes. A great mix of fruit & minerality on the palate. More acidic structure than I thought possible with this grape. An eye opener.

Really good. Assume carbonic. A little more than easy-going. Perfect edge of ripeness. Very fresh dark fruit, acidity and minerals that are salty and deep.
