Surprising given the high alc @ 16.3%. Balanced. A lot of fruit with power by great along the front mid back. Really enjoyed this over several hours. And with braised lamb shank.

Oh I just fell in love again. I actually got my hand slapped going back for thirds.

Time has been on my side. Gorgeous. Justin Smith is a genius. Black and blue perfection.

New Year's Eve. Didn't show well when popped and poured (more heat that fruit), but really blossomed on day 2 into something awesome...

Full bodied Paso Robles red. Dark and jammy, but reasonably well-balanced with some pepper / leathery notes. Not for those that favor old world.

Whoa. Stop the bus. This is A. Mazing. Picked it with Wine Cellar Roulette (and I'm pretty sure Jim had his thumb on the wheel). Juicy, fruity but with a great backbone. Nows the time to drink this beauty. (Ignore the stalker cat in the background but he does know good wine.)
