Black fruit, sage and bay leaf and graphite on the nose. Black and blue fruits, dusty tannins, dry crushed rock powered, sage, bay leaf, marjoram, graphite, pepper reduction, an array of soft to medium minerals and a juicy fruit finish that drys in the long finish.

From a few days ago. Excellent, but definitely on a fast evolutionary slope. In my view this is just past peak, so I’d recommend enjoying this sooner rather than later.

Deep garnet purple wi a lushness of mouthfeel. Long finish with tannic backbone. Macerated cherry on the pallet, signature Saxum. Awesome

This is a really big but well balanced red. Rich and vibrant fruits across the palette. Lots of structure on the finish.

Inky color. Probably the most muted wine I've had from Saxum, but still excellent, with blackberry, all-spice, and tobacco on the end. Here's to the Raiders, who for once in a long long time look like a legitimate football team.

Lots of hype for this wine and it was good but maybe not as good as the hype. Need to try a few bottles and vintages. Bold fruit and 15+ abv. Could use more time

Deep opaque purple. Initial barnyard funk blew off after an hour or so, giving way to dark fruit and camphor. Black tea, graphite, smoke, licorice, berries, bay leaf. Wonderful.
