Scarpetta 2012 Barbera del Monferrato~ MS Bobby Stuckey's project. Dark plum, berries, crushed floral, earth and nice acidity. Paired well w/ Homemade Italian sausage penne pasta bake.

This bottle had a slight bit of a haze to its color, but I did truly enjoy it. It could be a 8.9 maybe. Color brought it down a bit. Trying it again tonight.

Great berries, tobacco, and earthiness. Quite a easy drinker would go great with pizza or a lighter red meat dish.
