Happy Halloween 🎃! Tart & slightly sour light red fruits; strawberries, cherries, watermelon with rhine, pomegranate juice reduction, biscuits, pink florals, laser sharp minerality...stingy in fact, micro-bubbles, crisp, high acid, good precision & finesse with a decent finish. 👻 🕷 🎃 👹😈

Sets the standard for domestic rose bubbles. Loads of bright red fruit, plenty of acidity, and enough yeastiness to carry a long finish. A go-to sparkler that never disappoints.

Strawberries, Rainer cherries, watermelon, thinned pomegranate, dry chalk, touch of nuts, a little yeasty, mid minerality, nice acidity. Good sparkling for the $.

Ebullient and certainly not lacking in verve, the 2012 Schramsberg Brut Rosé 2012 is a testament to what cool climate viticulture in Carneros and the Sonoma and Marin coastal AVAs can achieve. As with the other Schramsberg sparkling wines I've sampled, this lovely rosé manages to be delicate and focused with pretty overtones of sweet cherries, raspberry brûlée, nougatine and mandarin orange. The mousse quite fine, with bright and brisk acidity bolstering pomelo and crushed shell notes at the close. Sample
