Spring Mountain District Cabernet Sauvignon

Schweiger Vineyards '09 Cab Sauv, Spring Mountain, Napa Valley. Recently released, exemplifying their typical 5 year plan from harvest to release. The only other vintages of this particular wine which I have tasted are '05 & '06. All are consistently rich, smooth, & intricate across the floral, fruit, nut, & shoe leather spectri. An extraordinary value in luxury class.

Intensity, but in an intelligent way. Always well done

Nice tannin level, really smooth. Hints of pomegranate and blackberry.
