Certainly not a bad wine, but it's nearly double the cost of wines which I feel have been stronger. So a little underwhelmed. Fruit forward, thin mouth feel but incredibly smooth. Doesn't have the smoke or oak that I'd call silky, though. After being opened for a day, it really opened up. Nice dry, okay finish. Recommend decanting or airating.

Excellent wine for its price. Dark ruby color. Light on the tannin, and mild-medium finish. Hint of dark berries with some red berry notes.
