As odd as they come yet satisfying. Sean Thackrey definitely spits in the eye of the wine police with this one. At once cooling and a bit hot, rich and almost sweet, yet far from over ripe. Notes of cherry cola and flowers with Pinot like structure.

Have always been a fan of Sean Thackrey and his wines. However this seems to be a mutt. An esoteric blend that basically tastes like a soft Grenache. White truffle, cherries, and potpourri. Very elegant soft mouthfeel with hardly any tannins. Light in color and flight brown.

Lightish color, but nose is brimming with ripe red mixed berries. A little smoky balsa wood thing too. Full bodied and a teeny bit hot. Nice with grilled Italian sausages.
