Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon

I've been cellaring this baby for like 12 years. Delicious and could go another ten years!

Still tannic but can't wait to see how this opens up. Remembering the Seaveys in the early 90s when I first visited them . #seavey #napavalley

Double decant and pour(lots and lots of sediment). A splendid still dark murky ruby red color. On the nose: very aeromatic notes of perfumed red fruit, forest floor, eucalyptus, smoked meat, mushroom. Taste: silky, savory, elegant wine with a little dark cherry/plum, loamy soil, mocha, tobacco, and an earthy licorice medium plus finish. YUM! Got to be patient with Seavey, but worth the wait.
