Does not disappoint. The fruit of the 2012 is sufficiently matured and integrated with this wines typically heavy handed barrel program. Subtle cocoa, vanilla and dried cherry aromas on the nice, smoky black current and bing cherry fruit, tar, brisk acidity and modest tannins.
