Ruby in the glass with fun aromas of cassis, cinnamon, black cherries, and a ton of wood. I'm not talking an over-oaked Napa Cab, this is good wood. An earthy and smooth palate of oak, chocolate mousse, and cigar smoke. Some austere black fruit, oregano, black olives, and damp earth. Lovely finish full of spice. Rich, deep, and showing such skill.
