Thankfully not as “hot” as I expected at ~16% abv. Kind of dangerous for the same reason ! 😉 A little tight out of the bottle but loosened up with some air. Chocolate covered cherries allll day. 🍫 🍒

Red cherries, min oak, great acidity and super boozy! Not quite as candied as I thought, but i feel high alcohol overshadows the fruit. Finish is long. Alc % 15.6

I’d like to know what Edgar Alan Poe has to say about this bold and impressive wine. Smoky and peppery with a nice, dry finish. We are enjoying this while nibbling on dry cheese and putting together Thanksgiving dinner.
