Brilliance.
This had been open in our fridge for 4 days and drank superbly the whole time.
At least a decade left in it.
Very partial to our brand.

Wow, citrus freshness, focused in its adolescence.

White peach, grapefruit, nougat, custard apple, peach yoghurt and spicy oak. In the palate the wine shows a serious purity of fruit and a raciness not quite indicative of the nose, it's textural and finishes with extreme, persistent length.

So bloody good- stone fruit, green apple, grapefruit, minerality, nougat & yoghurt. Feels good in the gob too; textural and shows great length.

The runner up in our entree flight, kept diplomatic and the NZ Chardonnay came through with the goods. M3 is without a doubt still the go to daily drinker. 2013

This is great. Lemon, apricots, loads of toast and vanilla, obvious lees age - yeasty and bready, MLF too - butter. Some tertiary development of nutty, hazelnut. Serious complexity and a long finish, there is fruit in abundance, this should develop in bottle nicely!

Shaw and Smith produce amazing wine and this wine is perhaps there leading white. I'm always soft towards chardonnay due to my admiration for the varietal, but Shaw and Smith create that buttery goodness I love with great acid, balance and length. Butter, lemon grass, apple.
