Beautiful. Ripe bramble fruit, dark cherry, sweet and ripe but not cloying. Really solid example of Oregon Pinot.

Deep, dark, gamey. All black fruit. Masculine, bacon fat, tar, hot? Much bigger than we expected but a perfect reminder of a great trip to the vineyard.

Much, much better than the 2009. The 2008 Shea Estate Pinot is a good example of the best of Willamette Valley.

Block 31. Not much Shea left in my locker. Was looking forward to this. Disappointed. No pop, no complexity.
