A good solid Cab Sav, yet a little muted to the point it’s more early stages big European (Bordeaux-esque). Still very enjoyable, but this is a buttoned down Washington red - mature, black tie and even a pocket watch and a gold rimmed monocole. Muted mature red fruit aside, it’s a smooth as a Lincoln town car floating over the road: easy, effortless and classy all the way. This sips the same way with a nice strong finish, but crisp and satisfying.
