Jan 28th, 2017Beautiful Cabernet that is drinking quite well now with many years still ahead of it. Black cherries, currants and blackberries explode on the palate, soft and jammy, silky tannins and low acidity. Great, long finish.

If someone for some wild reason gave you a red bell pepper creme brûlée, this is what it would smell like. Loving my napa cabs lately, especially 09s. Young but developing really well here. Black plums and dates on the nose, blackberry reduction on the palate. Mossy earth and a nutmeg and fennel like spice to it. Long finish that really impresses.
