May 11th, 20142007 vintage. Opened around 50 degrees. Decanted and kept in the 58-62 degree range with the decanter placed atop an (mostly) ice bath. Tasted after 25 minutes and 4.5 hours. Heavy body. Just enough acidity to slowly propel this effort along all palate phases. Total showstopper. Overlook/dismiss/avoid the SQN whites at your own peril. 2.15.24.

Feb 16th, 2024I normally enjoy a N Rhône white blend but the finish here just seemed awkward.  viognier’s influence perhaps that is throwing me.
