Quite acidic until it warms. Then, your palate opens with a slight floral tone and full body towards the back of the throat. It is nicely crisp. Flavor is slight but effective.

Bit o’butter. Bit o’pepper. Tasted better after it had been open a day or two.

Decent wine, but hasn’t got any character that stands out. Black fruit in aroma/palate (blackberry), some mint/eucalyptus and chocolate aromas. Too much (new?) oak (or MLF gone too far?) gives a butterscotch and toasty character that overpowers the too light fruit-character.

Had it at a Greek restaurant and loved it. Hunted down several bottles I had a wine shop and brought them home. They did not disappoint. Mild almost like a Merlot great with lamb chops.

First Greek wine I’ve ever tasted; light, dry, and delicious.

First time to taste Agiorgitiko. I was wondering why the winery named the bottle Saint George. Little did I know that Agiorgitiko exactly mean Santi George.
Very aromatic with white flower, perfume, cranberry juice, strawberry, and hint of vanilla. Medium body and medium to high acidity. Mellow tannins. A very good value.
