I'll be honest, I'm rating this a 9.2 based on the QPR (quality-to-price ratio) mostly because this is such a freaking delicious wine for sub-$20. I've always loved Pinotage, but when you can find one this good at such a great price, it's something special. Dense, rich black fruits dominate (think blackberry compote) with sweet oak overtones and a touch of forest floor-like earthiness. Textured and velvety smooth, this is a knockout. Pinotage- you win.
