I have always loved St Innocent pinots. This is a great daily drinker version from them. For the ~$19 a fantastic value for my tastes.

Good, stable, entry level Pinot from an amazing winery.

This is like a Pinot 101. A good beginners look into what a classic Oregon Pinot tastes like at this price point. Pom and cherry nose, a waft of a twig and branch. Blackberry compote, hints of warm pie. Takes an hour of air to see more fruit, tangerine acids, low tannin.

Juicy, fresh, aromatic. Tannins are firm but polished. High-pitched fruit character of red currant and raspberry. Sassafras, fennel, licorice and cedar on the nose with damp forest overtones and sweet baking spice accents. Very classic WV with declassified fruit from Zenith, Shea, Momtazi, Temprance Hill and other venerated sites.

Excellent! This tasted green when it first came out & wasn’t showing well. I wasn’t really feeling any of the 17 vintage Oregon stuff but this wine is perfect now. It’s very well balanced and is one of the best values in the Oregon Pinot world. These Oregon Pinots are better than red burgs in every single way. I’ve spent the last 15+ years doing the burgundy thing and the wines are disappointing constantly. It’s just not worth the time or the money. When I open this $25 dollar bottle of Oregon wine and it kicks the crap out of the $100-$300 burgundy it tells me to stop buying and collecting the wines. The price increase hurt when the 2005 vintage was released but take a look at the pricing on the burgundies now. Party is officially over. Not saying this is some kind of competition, just saying that I’ve done all the research. Tasted two bottles on 3/7/20 and again on 3/11/20
