Oh quite nice. Similar in “inoffensive but not exceptional” notes as I felt about mag of Margaux. A lot more baking spice. A hint more texture which says maybe yes to some but I like a velvet texture but I asked this. It was an excellent foil to super-spicy and ultra-sweet cranberry: the baking spice sang. Good stuff for the tday dinner win.

Nov 24th, 2017Quick weekend getaway for the TCU vs Arkansas football game! Always a treat to come up to Fayetteville in the Ozark mountains! I'm a Razorback by marriage, even though I grew up near TCU. A wonderful and beautiful campus and amazing football atmosphere.
Doe's Eat Place is a staple in Fayetteville. Picnic table tops, right off Dixon strip, fat steaks, and an actually decent wine list that is served in red plastic cups unless you buy by the bottle 😂. I've been pleasantly surprised with Stag's Leap over the last few years in regards to their quality...seems to be stepping up a bit/getting back to their roots. This Artemis won't hold forever, but it has a super aromatic nose of blue and black fruits, dates and french bread. Very plush on the palate, and a lengthy finish of licorice, touch of menthol and lots of blueberries and vanilla. Crowd pleaser.
