My second bottle of this, and a few more months of bottle age have helped. It’s got a little grassy thing, but it’s very subdued and more sweet than sharp. Some nice ripe fruit, and a hint of vanilla. In the mouth it’s rounded and soft, very polite for an SB. Nice wine to help the cooking along.

Gotta let this warm up and air out or else the pungent herbal cat-pee is overwhelming. But if you do that it shows more nuance and other aspects. A little musky gooseberry fruit, some very subtle oak in the background, some lanolin notes. Very white Graves like. Round textured, with a nice, toasty backdrop. Good balance at 13.7%.
