Oh wow this is my kind of Chardonnay.

Both Mr Spittoon and I loooved it. It's so super smooth with delicious creamy and toasty flavours. Think apple pie with a hint of toasted nuts and a lovely lick of lemon curd. Full bodied, long finish and bloody good!

It's a single vineyard wine which has been growing on volcanic soil at 870m altitude. Barrel fermented in french oak. Drink now or cellar up until 2030 - of you can hold onto it that long!

Thank you Stockman's Ridge for kindly sending us this sample bottle. All opinions are my own, life's too short to drink bad wine after all.
