very mature. Vines planted in 1981. Plot down right from the tasting room. Lovely meaty, leather, graphite, smoky, tobacco, French oak, plum, cherry. Very soft, good acidity, very light sweet tannins. Length of sweet red fruit that lingers on the finish. Plum, cherry, lightly fried fruit. Meaty, gamey, lovely length but $240!
